Halloween Lunch at Google Today

I had lunch with one of my old college friend back at UCI. He now works at Google and can invite a guest to their infamous cafeteria where everything is free.

I had Gyro lamb with roasted veggie and lemon chicken. It was really delicious. Taking full advantage of the Google experience, we played ping pong in a what should have been a conference room after lunch, followed by a full body massage in one of the many message chairs.

It was a great lunch!

We talked about how Google is doing things like taking pictures of all the street in the world (http://maps.google.com/) and trying to categorize all the books. (http://books.google.com/) They're really taking steps to organizing world's information and making it accessible. Pretty cool!

Did you know Google launched a contest earlier this year to setup 1 gigabit per second for a community just to see what will happen?

They're doing some amazing things with their billions of dollars in profit.
